Wisteria floribunda 'Royal Purple'
The origins of this cutivar are somewhat vague. It may have gone from America to Japan & back to America again! Not only in my opinion does it have the best purple flowers of any Wisteria but also distinctive glossy foliage & bronze colored new growth.
