Hug Point to Cape Falcon (& back)- 2020/09/06

We thought we would excape the heat for a day with a quick trip to the beach! Arrived at Hug Point at 9:15 to snag the last place in the parking lot. Temps in the 50's and a thick coastal clud bank that did not lift until about 1:00pm. We wallked south around Arch Cape and on to cape Falcon. Not knowing if we would be able to get back around Arch Cape on the way back as the tide was comming in we took the Coast trail north over the cape and rejoined the beach on the north side. 9.5 miles and about 900' of EG.
