Winds, Fire & Smoke - 2020/09/13

Its been a week from Hell for most folks in Oregon. Beginning with strong east winds on Monday evening that blew for the next 48 hours. Soon there were multiple Forest fires around the state spreading at great speed. Then came the smoke and the distinction of having the most unhealthy air in the world! On Sunday I took a quick trip up to Corbet I vista house just to see how things looked.

This is my drive home from work at Lunch time on Friday. There were no clouds in the sky!

2020/09/13: By Sunday morning we had maxed out the index which only goes up to 500 meaning Extremely hazardous!

2020/09/13: Baring a miracle it look like the Olallie resort has burned :(

Olallie gone?
2020/09/14: If the fire data is aquarate then it would seen that Olallie Resrot is gone & Olallie Butte is burned as the fire continues to head north East now.
