Kodak Technical Pan: Kodak’s Technical Pan was a special low speed high resolution film designed primarily for technical purposes. The Data sheet lists: • Pictorial photography • Photomicrography • Microphotography (Microfilming) • Solar photography • Photographing electrophoretic gels.

A special developer (Kodak Technidol) was meant to be used. The 2003 Data Sheet states that Technical Pan was being discontinued and that in fact no new film had been made in several years! Old Rolls of Technical Pan on eBay aren’t cheap and come with no storage history. I was lucky enough to find a listing from robot-rolls.com selling respooled 1995 Tech Pan for 8 dollars a roll. I had to give it a try! This roll was developed by thedarkroom.com and I was kind of blown away by the clarity of the images.
