Kodak Retinettes were made in Germany from 1940 until 1966. They were designed as cheaper option to the more expensive Kodak Retina cameras though use many of the same quality parts from lenses to shutter mechanisms. There is a very long list of types and models. Some had light meters and rangefinder focus but many came without either as does this model the Retinette I Type 30 made from 1958 to 1959. These test shots are taken on Foma 400.
