Into the world of Chinon III, The Chinon CE4: Released in 1979 / 80 at the same time as the CM4 it was marketed as the electromechanical cousin to the CM4. The first two Chinon Cameras to use the Pentax K lens mount. All previous Chinons being M42. In reality though it’s quite a different camera, it’s a much more robust build and doesn’t feel cheap in the same way that the CM4 does. It also has an AE mode and an easy to use double exposure switch on the top of the camera that's missing from the CM4.

For these photos of the Sandy Mountain Festival parade I loaded it up with some Fujicolor Superia 400 and attached my old Vivitar 28-210 lens that I’ve owned since the 80’s
