So what is Cinestill 800T? It's basically Kodak VISION3 5219 movie film that's had the Remjet layer removed and has been respooled into 35mm film canisters for still photography. Remjet is an protective & anti-halation layer (the reflection of bright points of light) Removal of this layer gives Ceinestill 800T its classic look in night time photography with the reflection of light points. VISION3 is rated at 500 ISO and Cinestill also recommends that if you use 800T in daylight you should shoot it at 500. That being said the film reportedly has great latitude and can be shot anywhere between 200 and 1000 without push or pull processing. Cinestill say the film can be pushed 3 stops to 3200.
