Notes | Introduced 3 years after the Fully mechanical OM1 the OM2 offered automatic exposure apperture priority. The camera had an electronically controlled shutter meaning that UNlike the OM1 a battery was needed for correct operation. Its most touted new feature was automatic through-the-lens (TTL) off-the-film (OTF) metering which was considered to be a very acurate form of metering. |
