Notes | In 1983 Olympus Introduced the Mechanical OM3 as un upgrade to the OM1 and The electomechanical OM4 as an upgrade to the OM2. Both had sophisticated spot metering while the OM4 went on to great success the OM3 was a marketing failure in its day as the demand for fully mechanical cameras was smaller and those that did want one could by a significantly OM1n that was also still being made. Today things have reversed and thanks to supply & demand the OM3 commands a higher price than the other OM cameras on account that there are far less of them available! |
