| Notes | Hot on the heels of the K Mount Cameras, in 1976 Pentax introduced their smaller M Series Cameras that required battery power for proper operation. The MX was the exception to this, matching the other M series cameras in their small size but being fully mechanical. Apart from it's small size it was closer to the older KX design than the newer M series. It's become one of my favorite SLR cameras of any make to use. |
